Photographing pencils
Photographing shiny objects, like pencils with a golden inscription, could be pretty challenging, as I realized. :) After reading this tutorial, I decided to build a light tent. But I didn’t want keep a colossal box lying around, so I made it foldable.
Materials
- Some spare bookbinding boards
- Wax paper (or glassine) - I found some with just the right size (250x375 mm)
- Some book cloth for the joints/folds
- Planatol Elasta N (paste)
