Description from the manufacturer
This is a genuine Yellow Ochre, made using natural earths instead of synthetic hydrated iron oxides. Natural yellow earths have been used since prehistory and are still essential in the modern artist’s palette. Yellow Ochre is particularly useful in a landscape palette, as it creates a spectrum of natural greens when mixed with any blue.
