Description from the manufacturer
This is a genuine Yellow Ochre, made using natural earths instead of synthetic hydrated iron oxides. Natural yellow earths have been used since prehistory and are still essential in the modern artist’s palette. This is a deeper variety of a classic Yellow Ochre which exhibits a brown-orange hue. Its rich warmth means that it is at home in a portrait painting palette.
