- Description from the manufacturer
-
Cadmium pigments were first created in 1817, but didn’t gain popularity until the early 20th Century. These brilliant pigments are loved for their strength, purity and lightfast properties. Cadmium Orange is made by modifying Cadmium Yellow (PY35) with Cadmium Selenide. Like other Cadmium pigments, PO20 is a very dense and dominant colour that is best mixed with other highly tinting colours.
